In nearly all appearances, traditional copies in ink are likely to become extinct and move to digital form in the near future. Print has been facing a steady decrease in readership, as nowadays people are accustomed to getting information at the touch of a key or screen. Particularly, the newer generations have been brought up with the access to information via computers and other digital media devices. Meanwhile, most of the adult population may also discover the convenience of finding information online. As the Internet contains an endless supply of information that allows users to learn about whatever subject they want to know by simply using a search engine, it seems that there is no need for physical copies any more.
(2) To become extinct
(3) Be accustomed to...
(5) Via 通过
(6) Search engine
While the digital revolution is changing the way people read for information, print is still a worthwhile option even in this digital world. There remain readers who feel a need for printed books, magazines and newspapers on paper. For one thing, they find reading on paper more enjoyable than reading on computers and digital devices, and the printed information more reliable. Besides, compared with the electronic version, printed books, newspapers and magazines can provide a more emotional connection with the reader, allowing a deeper understanding of and engagement with the written words. In short, having a printed copy, be it a book, magazine or newspaper, is likely a more enjoyable and trusted way of obtaining information than its digital counterpart.
(2) Option 选择
(3) Compared with... 与......相比
(4) Engagement
(5) Be it A, B, or C... C (=whether it is A, B, or C)
(6) Counterpart
In conclusion, when it comes to getting information, the Internet is killing printed books, magazines and newspapers. As a result, print is gradually down but not yet entirely out.
(2) When it comes to... 在...... 而言
(3) ...is down but not out ......

可数 只有一个 不特指 1 单数 不定冠词a/an I have a book. You can read it.(意思就是随便找本书看,不要去做其他事情。)
You can read the book I bought yesterday.
I have some books. You can read them.
You can read the books I borrowed from James.
不可数名词 不考虑 不特指 5 I want more information.
6 The information from the Internet is sometimes useless.
These knowledge is important to students.
正确的句子:this kind of knowledge is important to students.
b. 量词或者形容词 a number of, few, a few, numerous, many等一般都不加不可
Many scientific knowledge can be used in teaching students.
Many materials about science can be used in teaching students.
Children from poor homes have few opportunity to receive education.
Children from poor homes have few opportunities to receive education.
c. 量词或者形容词 a large amount of, a large quantity of, little, a little, much等一
This policy has positive effect on companies.
This policy has a positive effect on companies.
It is not easy to find a full-time employment.
It is not easy to find a full-time job.
Some young people can receive trainings.
Some young people can receive training.
News meda are a important influence on the public.
